We loaded the family up and off we went for a road trip down south for Stacey + Ty’s wedding. We had been speaking to Stacey and Ty for over 12 months about their pending nuptials and were so excited when the Big Day finally arrived! We could not have asked for a more down to earth and relaxed couple. Stacey had a clear vision for the day which made our job easy, all we had to do was pull it all together.
We created a few pieces especially for their wedding which are now available in our hire range. Directional pallet signage, new rustic props and pallet crates were all custom made for Stacey + Ty.
Their ceremony was held in the gardens at Wise Wines in Eagle Bay. They were married on the deck overlooking the vineyard with our ceremony door providing the perfect backdrop. It was only recently that someone pointed out the symbolic significance of our doorway – it providing an entry way for the new couple into their married life! Sweet. The aisle was lined with mason jars filled with baby’s breath and a wine barrel provided the perfect prop for our custom designed wedding signage.
Their reception was held in the restaurant at the winery with guests making a start on the bar tab out on the terrace while the couple were off having photos. The tables were styled with burlap table runners with ivory lace detail (made especially for Stacey + Ty), quality wood rounds, an assortment of jars and bottles all hand decorated by yours truly with burlap, lace and ribbon. We supplied and arranged all the fresh flowers for both the ceremony and reception using white roses, freesias, disbuds and light pink spray carnations. The finished product was nothing short of rustic romance.
We had so much fun styling this wedding and we even managed to spend a bit of quality family time with our three little rugrats. If you’re planning a wedding down south we can recommend:
